What stays on your PC

Your history and vocabulary are saved only on your computer.
Logs never contain what you said, only events, timings and errors.
No screenshots. Voxly reads only the app name and the box you're typing in to pick a style.
Passwords are off limits. The selection button never appears in password boxes.

Your choice of engine

Cloud (default) sends your audio to a fast speech engine for near-instant results. Voxly doesn't keep your audio or your text.
On this PC runs speech recognition and an optional offline AI entirely on your computer, with no internet needed.
Bring your own key for Groq or Gemini if you prefer your own account.
Automatic backup. If the internet drops, Voxly falls back to your PC.

Questions, answered

Is Voxly free?

Yes, Voxly is free to download and use. Cloud usage has a fair daily limit per account so the service stays fast for everyone.

Which computers does it work on?

Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. The app and speech model take about 300 MB, plus about 1 GB if you add the optional offline AI. Mac is not supported yet.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Speech recognition can run on your PC, and a one-click offline AI (about 1 GB, downloaded once) corrects grammar with no internet. Without it, Voxly still cleans up fillers and punctuation.

Will it get my company's words right?

Add names, products and acronyms to your vocabulary, or import a Slack export you're allowed to use, and Voxly keeps those terms exactly as you spell them. It ships knowing GoHighLevel terms like GHL and HLPT.

How do I cancel a recording?

Press Esc while recording. Nothing is inserted.

Windows showed a SmartScreen warning. Is that normal?

Voxly is a new app, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. Only download Voxly from this website.

How do updates work?

Voxly checks for new versions and updates itself. You can also check any time under Home, then Updates, then Check now.
